My son had a serious medical issue - so serious that he was unable to walk for several months. He was in physical therapy for over three years working to rebuild his core and leg strength as a result of his medical issues. After just five months of karate, he was released from physical therapy. The various exercises (including core work, squats, running) and stretching during every class have help him quickly improve his overall physical health. And the best part is he's having fun and making new friends in the process!
I can't speak highly enough of our experience with Sensei Seth as my 4 year old's martial arts instructor. He has a wonderful way of instilling discipline in the little ones while still allowing them to be kids.
The environment he creates in the dojo is warm, welcoming, and supportive.

My son recently started coming here and absolutely loves it. Sensei Seth is fantastic with the kids: he lets them have fun practicing and enhancing their martial arts skills while at the same time teaching them manners and respecting authority. But I am just a boring parent so here is what my four year old son has to say: Sensei Seth is a grown-up who teaches me punching, kicking and learning how to get all the stars and belts!
Our son is normally very shy, so when we brought him to his first class at Cervizzi’s, he was too timid to join the rest of the children and instead just sat and watched. Sensei Seth reached out to my husband and I after class and challenged us to encourage our son to keep attending classes since he knew how valuable it could be for him. Our son now thrives in class and looks forward to it every week. All of the skills he has already learned from Sensei Seth in his short time taking classes leave my husband and I in awe and we could not be more thrilled with his progress. Sensei Seth truly cares for the children he teaches and we are so appreciative! I would recommend Cervizzi’s Martial Arts Academy to everyone.

Sensei Seth is wonderful with all the kids in his class very loving, caring person. My 4 yr old loves going and enjoys going. This Class helps him learn direction, listening among lots of other things. I love to sit and wait for my son to listen to the funny comments the little ones say and do, you can also drop them off in class and feel, know that they are in SAFE HANDS.
